VanderBeek West Virginia bound for MEGA 100 July 9-11

MIDDLEBOURNE, W. Va.—Zack VanderBeek Racing is excited to announce their entry into the Dirt Modified MEGA 100 set for July 9–11.

VanderBeek will set out to compete in his first Renegades of Dirt event when he travels to the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W. Va., for the largest race in Eastern Dirt Modified history.

With a purse that boasts over $85,000 up for grabs including a possible $16,000 or more to win and $1,200 to start, the event has enticed the nation to take notice.

“The Z-Man” will travel 750 miles east in hopes of pocketing his fair share and add the “MEGA 100” to his impressive career résumé that features 27 United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) wins and over 75 Dirt Modified victories, plus a USMTS Rookie of the Year campaign in 2004 and a pair of runner-up runs in 2006 and 2014 in the Hunt for the USMTS Casey's National Championship.

The Tyler County Speedway is a 1/4-mile dirt oval nestled in the hills of scenic West Virginia along the historic Middle Island Creek. On-site camping makes the Tyler County Speedway/Fairgrounds a race fans vacation destination year after year. Lots of great camping available including primitive or full hook-ups. Ideal for a weekend getaway or a day of family fun, the fairground has shower facilities, shelters for picnicking, playground areas, and nearby fishing available.
