Zack VanderBeek pulled double-duty this weekend racing both an IMCA Modified and IMCA Stock Car at the 29th Annual Musco Lighting Fall Challenge at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa. Driving Roger Kelderman's no. 33z stock car, VanderBeek finished second on Friday and then took the checkers when the big money was on the line Saturday night. He started fourth.
In modified action, he broke a right front upper A-frame on Friday and did not finish. Things turned around on Saturday as he started 15th and raced his way to a sixth-place finish. Teammate Cayden Carter won the race and also finished second to 'The Z-Man' in the stock car feature.
